Might and Magic 7: Trial by Fire has been one of my favorite games in the series for a number of years. It has a great story and interesting gameplay, with enough RPG elements to be challenging without being overwhelming. And now, thanks to an enterprising member of the gaming community, Heroes VII is available for download without any cost or risk! What follows is a detailed tutorial on how you can get it free and legally, with no hassle and no worries whatsoever. Let's get right to it! The first thing you need to do is download the Razor1911 website launcher. It's a free program that will allow you to download patches and other goodies for a wide variety of games, including Heroes 7. To get a Razor1911 account, just go here: http://razor1911.codeplex.com/ . Once there, click the "Downloads" link on the left side of the page and then scroll down until you see "Heroes VII Trial by Fire Patch". Download this file to your computer - do not open it yet! Then click this link: https://www.facebook.com/razor1911official . Log into Facebook and accept the invitation to join this group. Once you've accepted, a window will pop up on your screen inviting you to verify your account with a link. Go ahead and click this link. Once you've accepted Razor1911's invitation, log back into the website launcher and scroll down until you see "Heroes VII Trial by Fire Patch". Click it to download! Don't worry - even though this file is over five gigabytes in size, the launcher only takes a couple minutes or so to download it. After it downloads to your computer, click "Open" instead of "Install" (unless you want Heroes 7!). This will open the file's contents - you should see a default folder named "patches". When you see "patches", click it. If you don't, you won't be able to access the Heroes 7 files that are hidden within this patch! Once you're in the patches folder, go ahead and click "Content" to see all of the files that have been downloaded. In this folder, there is a file called "Might and Magic 7 Trial By Fire". Click on it to open it! Now, all there is left for us to do is run Heroes VII! Just double click "H7TrialByFire.exe" to start it up. And there you go! You've installed and played Heroes 7 for free and legally. Pat yourself on the back!
